The 620-room all-inclusive pop up camper air conditioning units Resort Punta Cana is an upscale hotel on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It’s a 20-minute drive from touristy Bavaro and about double that from the airport. The resort is set on a lovely beach and has a huge freeform pool, free non-motorized water sports and lots of daytime and nightly entertainment.
Guests can choose from a variety of room sizes in the nine connecting three-story buildings that make up the resort. The deluxe rooms have large balconies and the suites are spacious with lots of amenities like a minibar, Jacuzzi and luxury linens. Preferred Club upgrades give you access to quieter and reserved areas of the resort, a private pool and beach; premium minibar selections and amenities; and enhanced in-room service like breakfast in bed, dinner reservations and shoe shines.

The Explorer’s Club kids’ club has a large playground and a cool splash pad. It offers a wide range of daily activities and my daughter made fast friends with her counselors. For teens, there’s the Core Zone which offers a number of teen-friendly activities like batting cages, table games and an outdoor movie theater. Guests can also enjoy the facilities at the nearby adults-only Breathless Punta Cana for no extra charge (unless you’re staying at Dreams Punta Cana and want to visit). Currently this option is paused though because the two resorts are part of the same AM Resorts brand.
